Above the clouds

The past two days, we spent in the mountains at an altitude of about 3200m.

The first hike was nice, but not very spectacular. While Henni felt warmed up, the high altitude was quite challenging for me.

In the afternoon, we baked bread in a traditional way before we went to our cabin in the evening. Unfortunately, the fireplace went out quickly at night, so it got really cold.

Early the next morning, we got up very early because we wanted to admire the sunrise. Despite the freezing cold, we had a fantastic view.

After breakfast, we took a very nice hiking trail to the next village, where we ended our mountain tour with a 1km long zipline and returned to Oaxaca.
