Qallenarlam on snorkeling trip

Yesterday we went on a little trip. In the south of the island, we boarded a small boat for snorkeling. Surprisingly, I feel a bit uneasy, I'm excited. On board, there are a couple from Erding, a pushy American woman, and some lively Chinese. Bob Marley sweetens the mood for us.

I'm sitting on the boat ladder with a life jacket (no one knows why you need one) and diving goggles, and I see a little jellyfish. Oh, Uwe, who was recently in Thailand, told me about the painful contact he had with one. Okay, the others are in the water too. I try to scare them away by splashing around a bit and jump into the sea. I see some colorful fish ....

All of a sudden, there's screaming. .. Come back on board.... I already get the feeling that one touched my foot, I try to stay calm. On board and safe, we see a swarm of tiny jellyfish. So we couldn't get back in the water. We were then taken to a small island and later we were able to snorkel again in another area, but without me.

We still enjoyed the trip. Hungry, we return to our idyll.

By the way, the food is amazing in Thailand.
