Bogota, the capital of Colombia, where the entire population of Switzerland would fit (although no one would voluntarily move there).
Well, the city is chaotic, noisy, and not very beautiful, except maybe for the Candelaria neighborhood. In my first few days, I took the Free Walking Tour about the history behind Bogota, which was quite interesting and also included a visit to the Botero Museum. I also took the Graffiti Tour, which delved into the artists' history.
Of course, the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá couldn't be missed, although I didn't find it particularly interesting aside from the intricate tunnel system.
I spent the evening with Kelly from Canada and Annika and Marvin from Germany, although it didn't go as planned.
The next day, Kelly and I climbed Monserrate, the mountain of Colombia, because of the large number of visitors.
The next day, I flew to Medellín with the Germans.
