Oktoberfest Brisbane

Hello dear ones,

unfortunately I have to post a somewhat more boring week after my spectacular post about Fiji.

Monday, 10th October:

Today was all about practice, practice, practice. On Wednesday there will be a 7-minute long presentation.

In between, I had to meet with two people from another course because we have to deliver a case study.

New status of my flatshare:

We are now 5 women and 2 men - the situation has changed a lot - considering that I was the only girl in the beginning. Now there are 3 German girls, one English girl, one Australian girl, one Italian guy, and one Brazilian guy.

Today, we Germans cleaned up our kitchen because we noticed that there were still things from the previous tenant in the fridge and cupboards. So we put on gloves and got the trash bags! :D It was very disgusting - but now our kitchen is clean again!

Tuesday, 11th October:

Today I practiced my presentation again and prepared everything for that.

Wednesday, 12th October:

Today I gave my presentation -> 8.72 points out of 10. :-)

Something checked off - onto the next one -> essay

Thursday, 13th October:

Today I had lectures again and during the breaks, I sat in the library working on my essay. I was kicked out at midnight :D Claudi said: Now I'm finally a real student - hahaha :D

Friday, 14th October:

Today was another library day.

At 5 p.m. I finally handed in my essay and then I worked on some lectures.

Saturday, 15th October:

Today we went to Brisbane for partying :-)

It was a very, very nice evening ;-) :D

Sunday, 16th October:

We stayed overnight in a hostel and then went to the Oktoberfest the next day! GERMAN FOOD - MAULTASCHEN, Spätzle, Pretzels, Currywurst, Apple Strudel, Berliners - everything a German heart has missed.
