Sixth Day: Sucre (April 16th, 2019)

The early flight at 7:15 am takes us from the steamy heat of Santa Cruz to the pleasant and dry altitude of Sucre. After a long ride from the airport, we find ourselves in a hotel with a fascinating view of the old town. Now it's time for breakfast and adjustment. Only the puddles remain as evidence of the morning rain. 16 degrees Celsius.

During an extensive city stroll, we go from high to low. That's easy. We are fascinated by the beautiful center of the old town, the buildings with impressive courtyards, and the view from the rooftops of the San Felippo Neri convent. But the way back to Recoleta, well, vacation doesn't have to be just pleasure. Especially when the weather is so good to us.
