Tuscany 2014 - Day 3

10:00 a.m. It has been thundering and rumbling for hours, torrential rain is pouring down and Lisa is sleeping soundly. One thing is and was already clear: no pool day today. Suddenly there is a loud bang and the lights go out - lightning has struck very close by!

Now everyone is awake.

Power outage. The small, old tube TV glows briefly and then stinks for a long time. Breakfast with the good old espresso machine in a darkened room is something different.

The weather is slowly calming down and the children are already exploring again.

We stock up on food and wine at the next supermarket. Hang around a bit, the kids in the pool, that's what you call a vacation. In the evening, we have pork schnitzel with vegetables - delicious. And then we're off to bed at 11, because tomorrow we're going to Pisa at a fairly normal time.
