A wonderful quiet and small island and exactly what we wanted in the last few days.
We had a wonderful and simple bungalow right by the sea, in the first row 😊 The accommodation was run by a lovely family and we felt very comfortable here.
Most of the time we spent by the sea. One day we had the scooter and another day we were out with a diving school and finally I was able to snorkel again.
Otherwise, we were walking a lot. The only disadvantage is that there is no street lighting in the evening and it can get pretty dark here 😂
Furthermore, I had read in advance that from our island, you can paddle to Koh Kham by kayak (a few hundred meters). Here, several million have been invested in a luxury resort and the beautiful white sand has also been brought in by ships.
From what I've heard, this resort did not have a building permit, so the government ordered a construction stop. That was a few years ago. Nevertheless, there are still a few construction workers living here who have already completed their work.
In any case, we wanted to go to the island. It was a bit windy that day and the waves were a bit bigger. Our host thought for a while whether he really wanted to lend us his kayak as it would be very tiring.
But we assured him that we can do it 💪🏻
The island is really tiny and there is absolutely nothing here, but the beach and the water are simply wonderful. Of course, we also climbed over the construction site and took a close look at the resort 😆
