SQUIRREL!!!! and Oxford

Today I met up with some other au pairs in Oxford. First, we went shopping at Primark and then we went out to eat. Of course, we also did some sightseeing ;)
We don't know what those buildings were, but it didn't matter. The coolest thing was this bookstore. I could have spent days there *_* Books spread across 4!!!! floors and they were huge!!! I really liked the shelf labels, apart from all the amazing books.
The covered market is really cute. It's a medium-sized market hall where you can find all kinds of small shops. Including a store for cakes and pastries. They looked so adorable and smelled so good. But we were all still full from lunch. To end our day, we went to the park (apparently the Botanic Garden) behind Christ Church.
The 4 of us sat down on the grass and just chatted. About ourselves, our home countries (Germany, Italy, France), our culture, etc. It was really interesting.
Soon, we want to have a countries party where we meet up and each person brings something typical from their home country. For example, I'll bring something from Germany, and so on. It will definitely be a lot of fun. In any case, it was fun getting to know people from other countries better. Now I can visit Italy or France just like that ^^
