We spent one night each in Neuquén and Santa Rosa. We didn't find Neuquén particularly interesting, as it is a region known for oil and gas extraction. There are oil pumps and gas stations everywhere... On the rest of the way, we were able to observe flamingos, take a photograph of a long-tailed tit, see sunflower fields as far as the eye could see, and even witness vineyards. We also showed our gratitude to Gauchito Gil, the patron saint of travelers, with a bottle of water. We were relieved to arrive safely in Buenos Aires on January 12, 2022.
