Toronto, Take Two

Gipatik: 24.11.2017

11/01/17: It was already a small challenge every morning in this hostel. If you have mainly stayed in at least 4* hotels before, this is an absolute dump in comparison. I don't want to say that I'm super spoiled... but the challenge started as soon as I got up.

- Touch the floor without shoes? No way!

- Touch the shower curtain or the wall while showering? No way!

- Naked skin on the bed sheets, etc.? No way!

I think you know what I mean. It was really borderline...! After our morning ordeal, we naturally set off for the city center after breakfast.

And of course, I had to take a snapshot of the 'mounted police' during our train ride to the city. :-)

Allow me to introduce my home from January 1st, 2018. We took the journey to my future accommodation so that I could get an overview of the area. And of course, it was also out of interest, what does it look like there!

Carina went even further! Washing hair in the hostel - No way! That's why we went straight to the nearest hair salon. She then got a proper wash. And yes, the picture doesn't reflect the typical sight of a hair salon in Germany either. But it was a very fun and communicative stay there. You could have thought the hairdresser was a travel guide in her second life *laugh*

Afterwards, we went to the shopping mall. I thought the saying was great and deserved a shot. :-)

I love Walt Disney. And Olaf cannot be missing. For those who need a little help... he is one of the characters from the movie 'Frozen'. Great result at the shopping mall. Thumbs up for that.

Old-school theater has a lot of charm.

A film set was set up here, but unfortunately we couldn't find out which film it was.

First visit to a laundromat. Mom, cheers to our washing machine and your washing skills. Of course, my laundry has shrunk a bit here, how could it be any different... but what choice do we have ;-). Exactly, none!

The guys from Frankfurt are so nice and are driving us to the airport tomorrow. That's why we had a little nightcap at the nearest barbershop on our last evening. And yes, you're seeing it right, a barbershop and a bar in one.

A successful day is coming to an end. Tomorrow, it's time to pack our bags, we're flying to Vancouver. Good night :-)
