08/10 - Botanical Garden

To escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours, I went to the botanical garden on Saturday morning and let my soul unwind during a leisurely walk, as they say, and enjoyed the abundance of greenery.

I think I explored every part of the garden except for the orchid garden, it was truly magnificent. I want to save the orchid garden (the absolute highlight of the botanical garden) until I can go there with Jim. Unlike the rest of the garden, it requires an entrance fee, and that's when my frugal nature as a Swabian kicks in ;-)

While in the midst of greenery, I also discovered the super cool stage that a colleague told me about. There are often concerts held there in the evenings on weekends. I added that directly to my to-do list for Sunday.
