In Barcelona, I really didn't do anything, so I can't say much about it. I arrived late in the evening, checked in, and went to Subway to get something to eat. The next day, I spent the whole day at the beach. However, the beach was very rough and the sea was dirty and full of jellyfish, so it wasn't that cool. Then I ate at BK and got on the ferry that was supposed to take me to Italy. At first, I was amazed by the huge ship and everything it had to offer (elevators, escalators, pool, casino, restaurants, etc.). It's like a little world on the water, and the boat was much bigger than I expected for a ferry. So with great enthusiasm, I started the trip to Italy.
However, my cabin was very small and I shared it with 3 other people. Unfortunately, I got the cheapest cabin, so we could always hear the noise and vibration of the engine. Plus, the rocking of the boat wasn't that cool. (But it was better to have a bed than not. There were countless people sleeping somewhere on the deck or in lounges.) In the cabin, we also had the smallest shower I have ever used. It was a funny experience. In my cabin, there was a guy who never said anything, an American, whom I will talk about later, and an Italian. This Italian guy was weird because he constantly talked to himself without stopping. At first, I found it funny, because I thought he would stop soon, but he never did. In the end, it was just creepy. But I survived, so everything is good. 😅
I got along well with the American. After both of us explored the boat separately, we sat together for the rest of the evening, drank overpriced beer, and talked. He was really nice and has been traveling alone for a month. We could even have some deeper conversations because he often helped me with my language mistakes, as he speaks the language perfectly. Before going to sleep, we briefly went to the casino and almost got rich. Just kidding, the result is that I wasted 5€.
The next day, I read a lot, namely the second book of the Scythe trilogy (good book), and sunbathed until we arrived in Italy. So not much happened.
Yes, such a boat trip was exciting. I think I have to do a cruise at some point and spend a bit more money so that you can have more luxury. That must be really cool. Oh, one more thing. It was very strange on the deck at night because there is truly nothing around you, only emptiness and darkness. That's it👍🏻
