Sightseeing in the neighborhood

Day 207:

It always surprises me to see how long I've been traveling when I write here about how many days it has been. Time flies by.

Living in the hostel is a bit like living in a very large shared apartment or with a big, pretty crazy family. There is always someone in a good/bad mood, drunk/very sober, sick/in great shape, very loud/a bit too quiet, and so on. And of course, there are always people you like better than others. So living in the hostel is also a good opportunity to practice serenity and goodwill.

Did I mention that I bought a car? Her name is Miss Rosi. She's an older lady, sometimes a bit incontinent and mostly a bit grumpy. For example, since yesterday she hasn't let me open the driver's door anymore... well, that's how it is with old cars.

Anyway, with my new car I have seen a lot in the past few weeks. Here are a few photos for you, all taken in the immediate vicinity of Albany. If you click on the photos, you should be able to see what I wrote about each picture.

Greetings from the sun,

Jule
