Intro

Welcome to another travel blog.

The question is: How do you start a travel blog if you've never blogged before, and if you've never followed travel blogs before?

The answer: Just do it and see what happens!

Why do it at all? Who cares about what we plan to do? Actually, it's quite simple:

'When we retire, the first thing we'll do is finally take a long vacation!'

We've heard this sentence in the past, in this or a similar form. But we don't want to wait that long, so we're starting right now. With accumulated vacation time and overtime, we're taking a break from our everyday lives for 7 weeks.

For the trip, we've chosen southern Italy, including Sicily. You can't get there that quickly during a normal 2 or 3-week vacation.

Actually, I have no idea how we'll design the blog. It will probably just be a kind of documentary diary. Let's all be surprised.

Well, but now enough of the many preliminary words, it's time to get started. Maybe you feel like joining us...

P.S. One more sentence about the blog title image: The photo was taken during the trip, and we didn't get permission to present the photographed caravan here. This will be compensated by mentioning the campsite where it is located: Camping Settebello (N41.294833, E13.319835).

P.S. II For the sake of simplicity, the titles of the individual blogs will be the names of the locations of the campsites where we stay. This way, you can later retrace the travel route.
