Today we arrive in Bergen. Our last stop in Norway. The last hours of the journey were nice and quiet. Bergen is the starting point for the Hurtigruten postal ships. Today there are 4 Hurtigruten ships in the harbor. Two postal ships and two expedition ships.[/uploads/d00c5838bc23c11249a63f4f3c53bef5_large.jpg]Bergen has 270,000 inhabitants and is really beautiful. In the early morning, we take a short hike up the mountain called Fløyen. From there, we have a nice view of the city. We are really lucky with the weather. Usually, it rains in Bergen all the time. Today, we only have a few sleet or snow showers. Otherwise, it's dry.[/uploads/baa4357fd8d6d6f80a187b97277724fe_large.jpg]We visit the neighborhood Bryggen. Naturally, it's very old and a tourist attraction.[/uploads/5fe2acd5a623457eace26a693183bd5b_large.jpg]The houses in Bryggen are built of wood and very crooked. It's a miracle that windows and doors can still be opened.[/uploads/8eaabe7ef7643c950759dbba7421992b_large.jpg]Between the houses, there are narrow alleys that you can walk through. Here you can see even more how crooked everything is.[/uploads/ba3393dae65d9b49043d37bf4f9c3458_large.jpg]Another neighborhood of Bergen shows a closed construction with really old, but beautiful wooden houses. We really like it here.[/uploads/ca256c7cd3a06bf5f9b8ea9e5d509c17_large.jpg]Beautiful houses.[/uploads/d33febe3b97980face1c7000f4073aa8_large.jpg]
