It's incredible how time flies here - we've already been here for over a week. Over the weekend, we celebrated the 1st Advent and Vera's birthday.
Hanna is here, squealing with joy and babbling non-stop (sometimes as early as 6:30 am). On the other hand, Phine is the most relaxed baby you can imagine - she sleeps a lot and when she's awake, she's usually content. Joni is still a little whirlwind and is as sweet as ever with his cousin and sister.
Last week, we went to the bird park and admired numerous colorful birds and small monkeys. On Saturday morning, it was a bit cloudy, so we decided to go to the Two Oceans Aquarium - a great destination for young and old! After that, we filled our bellies at the Foodmarket (DELICIOUS!) and strolled along the waterfront.
Roman, Hanna, and I made a little detour to the beautiful Llandudno Beach on the way home.
On Sunday, we went to the highly recommended Hout Bay Market. It was nice but much smaller than expected. So afterwards, we made ourselves comfortable in the sun at the Dunes and spent the afternoon "at home" by the pool.
On Monday, we all went to Table Mountain. Roman and Timur left early and walked up, while Vera and I took the children up later in the cable car. It was quite windy at the top, so we didn't stay too long with the kids. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the view. Oh, how beautiful Cape Town is!
Yesterday, the Michalik family had a lazy day at home, while the Kuru family took a trip to "Woodstock" and the Deer Park Cafe.
