Immediately after breakfast, we took a little detour to T-Mobile and got a prepaid card with a data plan. While the consultant was getting everything ready, we taught him how to say 'cheers' in German. Very charming, even though the sounds sounded more like an American burp.
Next stop: the nearby St. Armands tourist center. On the way there, we made an interesting discovery:

Really a very beautiful area and the view of the turquoise water is simply fantastic.
Unfortunately, you can only see the mansions of the wealthy from the other side of the shore. From St. Armands, you can look over to the island 'Bird Key'. Since we wanted to go to the beach for sunset in the evening, lunch should be a bit more substantial. We had the choice: healthy or American. Guess what? 😜 We felt like we stuffed our stomachs with 3 million calories, but it was awesome 😁 We all know that American supermarkets are huge, but what we saw at Costco Wholesale was truly incredible. Huge packages of unimaginable size, or do you have any idea how to fit one 2-liter Listerine bottle into a German mirrored cabinet?! We then spent the evening at the beach and got to experience the 'Drum Circle' there. Everyone who has legs (and a 'bird') comes there to dance around a flower circle to rhythmic drumming. Of course, we can't miss out on that 😜 Here you will find people who have remained at the peak of the hippie era in the 70s and wear such colorful clothing that you might think they were worn in a dye explosion at a dye works. Everyone sings and dances in a circle, completely carefree and doesn't give a d*** about what the other person thinks, and then waits for the sunset. As the sun sets, fantastic images present themselves and you can listen to the sounds from huge seashells. As the sun went down, it got a little chilly, so we went back and enjoyed Elena's delicious magic sandwiches with a good bottle of wine at home.
