Living in Suzhou

Hey,

Last week and also the weekend I was just in Suzhou, so not much exciting happened. My roommate from Friedrichshafen visited Suzhou on the weekend, as he currently lives 2 hours away from here. We did some sightseeing and visited one of the countless gardens, well they are definitely beautiful but I only needed to see one 😂 I still find the small canals and rivers and the lake very beautiful, even though you can't swim in them.... As tempting as it is at these temperatures 😊 It's really hot here at the moment, today we had 41 degrees and otherwise always around 35... If we're lucky, it might drop to 29 at night, but it rarely goes below that....

On the weekend, I went out to party in Suzhou for the first time, compared to everyday life it's relatively expensive but was a lot of fun 😊

All the food stands are crazy... I didn't try anything 🙈 some of it smells so disgusting that you're glad to quickly move on... But on the pictures you can see duck intestines in abundance, the Chinese love it. And stinky tofu, I don't have a picture of it but it smells so bad from a distance of 10 meters that I don't want to get closer 😂 There is really good food here, but for me it's limited to rice and vegetables, I still stay away from meat except for the Wednesday burger or pizza 😊

Next weekend I'm going to the mountains again, I'm looking forward to it 😊
