Rolo - Brescello - Parma

Yes, today was the day. After a two-hour drive we reached Brescello, the filming location of Don Camillo and Pepone. Everyone our age has seen the films and laughed. Even today we still enjoy watching them. So we went to the museum, took a photo with the bronze figures in the church square, and looked inside the church. Camillo's "master" didn't speak to us, though.
Afterwards we had a small meal in the corner bar, where Camillo started the fight by throwing a table.
Thus, we have achieved the goal that was not possible for us last year.

As always when we are travelling in northern Italy, the clouds want to greet us. This time we sneaked in from the other side, but they noticed and gathered together to greet us.
We are currently hiding in Parma and want to continue towards Verona tomorrow. Our informant "weather forecast" told us that we have already been discovered and that the "rain clouds" reception committee is waiting for us in Verona.

The recommendation for Pama came from the last B&B landlady, she said that since we were only 20 km away we should definitely check it out. Being as flexible as we are, everyone involved was persuaded. For dinner in Parma we had local specialties.
