Because it got a little late yesterday until we were home in the evening, there's the blog today.
The day started a bit rainy. But after the whole campsite was under water once, it was really nice again!
Let's go to the Oktoberfest! It was a bit strange there. There were entrance bands with which you could pay cashless. You had to get the beer yourself. But now in Australia, beer with more than 4% alcohol cannot be served at events. And a Maß (1 liter beer mug) is too big. Pretty expensive at 14 dollars per half. 🤣💲💵🍻 But we weren't there for fun! Visually, the 'Dirndl' and 'Lederhosen' are also not really fun but okay. Here it is only called 'Oktoberfest Outfit'. Anything else would be exaggerated. I had to explain to them what a Dirndl and Lederhosen are 😂Today we continued way too early. But there's nothing to be done. On the way, we made a little detour to Parkway Drive. Unfortunately, there's no road sign there!!!The new campsite is located at Lake Ainsworth. It has a brownish-yellow color due to the surrounding trees. We have now arrived in New South Wales and are no longer in Queensland. Which means that we are now 9 hours ahead of Germany. At least the sun doesn't set at 6 PM! Thanks Nicoletta, Benny, and Mar for liking ❤️ Mar... Who are you? 😂
