Batumi•Georgia🇬🇪

04.-06.05.2022 • After arriving in Georgia, my first stop was the city of Batumi near the Turkish border. Without having a true sense of this country yet, it was difficult for me to categorize this city. The architecture was a mix of old buildings with beautiful facades, worn-out blocks from the Soviet era, and modern and somewhat exaggerated buildings and skyscrapers. The people seemed nice but distant. The food was fantastic and the Georgian alphabet was super confusing. And even though the weather didn't cooperate in the first few days, I felt comfortable here from the beginning, which would continue for a long, long time.
