In the morning I attended a lecture about the excursions offered for our next travel destinations.

Late in the morning, archaeologist Patricia Welch gave a lecture entitled "Abandon Ship!", which dealt with historically valuable shipwrecks. The auction of thousands of objects that had been recovered from a Chinese junk was also discussed. This auction took place in Stuttgart at the time and caused a worldwide sensation.

After the lecture, others and I approached Patricia, we had a lively conversation and decided to continue the conversation over lunch together. There were five of us there.

I also spent dinner in company. My best friends on board, Debbie and Judi, had arranged to meet for dinner in the steak restaurant and invited me. The food was once again excellent.

The night's program featured "Rat Pack Reloaded" who brought well-known songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. to life.
