Tag 189 - Another day at the beach ☺️

Hi guys!

Today was another relaxed day. We sat on the terrace until we got hungry. Since most restaurants are located on the "white beach", we went there. We chose a Chinese restaurant, which turned out to be a big mistake! Our dishes (both with chicken) consisted of more cartilage and bones than meat... It extinguished us after the first bites... After that, we sat on the beach and watched people. We decided to go back to the hotel, pack everything, and go to "Puka Shell Beach" in the north. We read online that there is a secluded bay behind the cliffs - we wanted to see it! When we arrived at the beach, we walked all the way back to the cliffs, but there was no way past them... We discovered a small path through the forest, which we took immediately. But it led right through the jungle and after a few meters we decided to turn back. We didn't expect that when we chose flip flops :).

Anyway, we found a nice spot in the sand and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. We didn't see much of the sunset, because a lot of clouds had moved in by then.

When it was already dark, we made our way back.

We ended up in the middle of a huge traffic jam! Because of a construction site, there was only one lane left and since everyone just drives on, there was no progress. The police were standing next to it, but didn't make any effort to regulate the traffic. This was done by other locals who were also stuck (including our chauffeur). We have never seen such unnecessary police officers before....!

Now we are at the hotel and getting ready for dinner.

We will upload the pictures tomorrow, it's supposed to rain...

I don't fully believe the weather report yet, Kevin does - let's see what awaits us tomorrow :).
