Day 15

Two weeks are done🥳 the homesickness is slowly getting better🥹

This morning, us newcomers went for Outside Feeding to get to know the animals and the area. It was really cool because they have a lot of animals here. However, many of them are overweight, especially the lions🤔

At lunchtime, we had a small presentation and tour of the area. It's beautiful here😍 much greener and everything feels like it's designed with much more love. Since there are also "normal" guests staying here, it's also very fancy. There are lots of free-roaming animals: 12 dogs, what feels like a thousand cats with babies, turtles, peacocks, geese, but also antelopes. Overall, I feel much more comfortable here🤗

However, the accommodations at the Volunteer Camp take some getting used to. There's no electricity and the beds are pretty worn out. But you get used to it and you're only there to sleep🫠
