Even more Yeppoon

I slept well, a beautiful sunrise is waiting to be seen from the terrace, but what is this?!? A swollen eye... and that on such a day! But don't worry, a perky rice ball on a journey cannot be stopped so easily: Great Keppel Island here I come!!! (So much information, I need a few more days! Sorry~)

Well, mosquitoes and other insects are part of everyday life in Australia. With 11 bites and a swollen eye, I might set a new record for just one night. Besides, there's also this charming monster moth that didn't let me rest. So much for the many dangerous insects in Australia XD I still haven't seen anything poisonous or really evil, except for lots of insects and many different birds! But geckos and lizards are also encountered frequently XD

I owe many of the pictures above to friends who drove me to Keppel Bay Marina and to the top of Bayview Drive with a refreshing breeze. A roller coaster ride for free! XD Not to mention the gigantic view over Yeppoon and Cooee Bay, which I also owe to friends and their families! (Thank you sooooooo much <3 !!!)

This pool is just too beautiful not to upload another picture, but I'll tell you a little secret: IT'S FREEZING COLD!! Even the sea after sunset is warmer!!! XD

Brekky 'nd Coffee - a delicious breakfast!

Bad news for all coffee lovers: Instead of filtered coffee, there's granulate!! XD But don't worry, the mentioned variety is tasty and affordable according to the advertisement, it's much more difficult with postcards, as I found out today!! After the post office and the grocery store (actually a supermarket but... I would describe it more as a mix of stationery store and kiosk) there was only the supermarket, the good old Wollie (Woolworth, here a bit different from ours, more like Real!) to be exact, left and finally - an integrated grocery store (this one was really more like a kiosk with tons of magazines and some books that you can also find in some supermarkets in Germany XD) had about 5 to choose from. So you can safely skip the Friday queue at the post office with 12 waiting Aussies, but it's best to take the postcards with you as soon as you can see them, because you never know when you will have the next opportunity - and that in Rocky (Rockhampton)!! XD
