Norway trip May 26-June 17, 2022/June 16-17

Today we are heading towards Geilo for our final accommodation. With beautiful summer weather, we travel through the stunning nature, passing mountains and fjords. There is still some snow on some mountains, next to the road, which indicates that summer only lasts for a short time. On the way, we visit the Borgund Stave Church, which is one of the most outstanding examples of Norwegian stave construction art, one of the oldest wooden buildings in Europe, and a tourist attraction. The church is dedicated to the Apostle Andrew and is currently owned by the antiquities association. Kurt tries his luck fishing in the river towards Geilo, with warm temperatures of 20 degrees, and Annemarie catches our dinner. We enjoy a cozy game of Jass and go to bed early, as our journey back home starts tomorrow at 4:30 am. We enjoy our last car ride towards Oslo in beautiful, warm summer weather. Thus, an impressive, diverse, and beautiful trip comes to an end. We are grateful that everything went well, with no accidents and everyone staying healthy. We land in Zurich on June 17th at 2 pm 😇😇😇😇😇
