Let's get started

After a long and quite stressful preparation time, the time has finally come. I just boarded the plane to Johannesburg with a stopover in London, despite the unpleasant sleet. Today was quite stressful as well, especially after realizing at three o'clock while printing out all my documents that I don't depart at 7:10 PM as I thought (that's the time for my return flight :D), but actually at 5:40 PM. But everything turned out fine and I even had time to have a Chai Latte and a Chocolate Cake with my parents.

Even my heavy hand luggage (hiking backpack weighing about 10 kg, sleeping bag, and handbag with laptop and three books) passed through without any issues. Let's see if the budget airline in SA is equally tolerant.
