Arrived - or I'm floating on clouds

The day started as usual with breakfast preparation for the guests - today 7 rather strange French people who drink their tea, milk, and cocoa from bowls... after we had breakfast ourselves (toast, homemade jam, ham, cheese, eggs, whatever is left from breakfast, the work was distributed. By the way, Magnus said Karin and I should take some time for next year - from mid-June to the end of October - ......

Actually, we were supposed to have a horseback tour if we hadn't mixed up the month :-)). So Karin and I were able to ride the first round ourselves. We saddled Blakkur and Etlem and headed towards Oalbahn. Blakkur is also a huge horse, coal-black, and once you've cracked him, he's just fun. I came back with a big grin. After a short break, we went on the next horse and went for a ride - getting the first raindrops from above. So that was done too. What I didn't know was that the ride went through the river - and of course, I didn't have waterproof shoes on..... But it was still cool - or rather wet.... After that, it was time for gardening - I helped Magnus mow the lawn and rake the grass together. And then it was time for the next horse - this time it was time for arena work, gymnastics with Dromi and Biltigur. As soon as the two were tidied up, Magnus came by and assigned the next two horses. Karin rode Gunadis and I rode Kjarki - see photo :-). And then came the highlight for me - Magnus showed up at the arena, looked at everything, and praised me for how I ride. What more could you want... And now I'm going to have a cold Icelandic beer at the pub
