Airlie Beach

Our day in Airlie Beach started with sleeping in and followed by breakfast. We gathered strength to go into town and do some shopping and visit a lagoon located there, right in the middle of the "city"! After a quick lunch (around 4:30 pm😂), we headed to a nearby waterfall which was super cool! It took about 20 minutes to get there and then we were in a pleasantly warm pond/lake. The water itself was very clear, although the lake as a whole was rather greenish.. the waterfall was relatively small but that's enough for us, it was still very beautiful to see. In the evening, we went to the bars in town which had a Ladies Night on that day (yey). The morning was spent preparing for our sailing trip.
