Adelaide here we come

The day started off shitty. There were no baked beans for an English breakfast. For those who don't know English breakfast: toast with bacon and egg, along with baked beans in tomato sauce, sausages, grilled tomato, and mushrooms.

Denis, the taxi driver from yesterday, picked us up on time because today we're headed to Adelaide, our next destination.

And besides the taxi ride, we also got a few life lessons along the way. Denis wanted to speak a bit slower so that we could understand better, but that only lasted for about 2 minutes.

As soon as we arrived at the airport, we had to read on the display board that our scheduled flight was canceled.

And as is always the case, there was no one to talk to anywhere.

After 2 hours, we received the information that we were rebooked on the Qantas flight to Adelaide. Now came the next problem. All flights in Australia only allow 23 kg of luggage. But since we would have been allowed to bring 30 kg with us on our original airline, Virgin, we had to pay for excess baggage. Now the rush for money begins.

We finally took off with a 3-hour delay.

Adelaide, a medium-sized city with a pleasant climate. We're staying in Glenelg, a nice neighborhood with a beach. Too bad we're only here today.

Tomorrow we're already moving on.
