First of all: Sorry for the late update - but we have arrived đ! Finally landed in Brazil. The plane took off around 11 pm German time with a one-hour delay.
We didn't really get to sleep, but the entertainment program kept us in a good mood: And then we got closer to this huge city đ After about 12 hours of flight, we reached the airport in Rio de Janeiro. And the first thing we did? đŦ! And of course, breathe in the fresh air. It was now 6 am - still 6 hours until check-in at the hotel. So we decided to take the bus to Botafogo/Rio de Janeiro. 1 1/2 hours later, we were in the middle of Rio, a little disoriented, but quickly we got help from a nice old lady who took us to the hotel in the morning đĩđ¨! Our first stop is the ibis in Botafogo, 2 km from Copacabana and with a fantastic view of the Christ statue with a bright blue sky at around 27 degrees đ: Best regards to Germany to our loved ones ⤠BINE & MARIE đ
