Day 6 - Croatia (Solaris Beach Resort)

Thursday and day 3 in Croatia, a country that I like more and more every day. This may also be due to the beautiful women who made it difficult for me to make progress in reading my book. What, Weichelt reads? Calm down, it's just Lehmi's biography "Capo - My Voice for Dynamo Dresden", after that I'm done with reading. But Kai and Manu also took a book in hand today. Dustin, the old Sonnyboy, preferred to sunbathe during that time.

But let's start at the beginning, even though today is one of the calmest days of our vacation, we enjoyed the whole thing enormously. If you think we slept in today, you're mistaken. The alarm clock was set for 7:30 am for Dustin and me, out of the tent, put on running shoes and sports clothes, and off we went. Even if it was just a shorter round along the beach, these 25 minutes in the morning at 8 o'clock in this heat were tough. Kai and Manu took care of breakfast in the meantime. AWESOME! Exercise, shower, eat breakfast, and just live into the day.

After a generous breakfast and funny conversations, we headed to the beach. Uh, let's say the 6 hours in the sun left their mark. As our parents would say: "who doesn't want to listen, has to feel". Well, so be it, I'm curious how the night will be, I definitely won't be able to sleep on the book. :D Manu and Kai were well equipped with "water shoes", as there were some sea urchins lurking along our stretch of beach. Dustin promptly bought a snorkel with goggles to take a closer look at the whole thing. Even if you have to wait 25 minutes for a burger here and the draft beer on the beach costs a proud 4.10 € (0.5L), it's still a beautiful spot on earth. And the girls, wow, but well, that's enough now, otherwise I'll start gushing.

Not much else happened today, but that's just how it is, we're on vacation after all. We were able to have breakfast, dinner, and even had time to do some laundry in peace. Today we will go to bed a bit earlier than usual, because tomorrow the planned departure is set for 8 o'clock. We are about 500 km away from here, to our destination, Albania! We have already reserved a campsite there, let's see if we can make it there?! You will hear from us. Good night and remember, always apply sunscreen in the sun.
