Here we go!

Hello everyone,

We are Leonie (27) and Roman (29) and we are taking you on our journey through Central and South America and Scandinavia.

After weeks of planning and preparation, we are finally starting today.

The apartment is terminated, our stuff is stored with our families, and the backpacks are packed. Leonie's backpack weighs about 9kg, Roman's 13kg - hopefully light enough to travel well and yet prepared for all activities! :)

Today we are driving from Minden to Frankfurt am Main, to take the plane from there tomorrow morning.

Our first destination is Cancun in Mexico. Instead of the gloomy weather in Germany with rain and 7 degrees, we are expecting 29 degrees and sunshine.

We are excited and looking forward to the first cocktail on the beach.
