08/07/2019 - Port Moresby / Papua New Guinea

At 1:40 pm our plane was supposed to go directly from Wewak to Port Moresby. Once again, the plane was delayed. Eventually, we took off and landed after 1.5 hours. No one got off. We were ready to go when the stewardess said we were in Madang. An intermediate stop that no one told us about. Unexpected things happen here often. So we arrived in Port Moresby completely late and happily booked our accommodation again with Carolyn and her husband. Carolyn picked us up from the airport and we went to a supermarket. After our time at Sepik, we wanted to have a proper meal again. Here in Port Moresby, there is even a supermarket that sells white sausages, bratwurst, mettwurst, and many other delicious things. We found what we were looking for and cooked a delicious dinner for the four of us.
