Koh Chang, Koh Mak & Koh Kood

On December 13th, we once again took the bus from Phnom Penh to Trat (Thailand) to explore the surrounding islands from here.

First, we went to Koh Chang. A very beautiful island with rainforest and a national park.

Here we could admire beautiful waterfalls. While bathing there, we were constantly surrounded by fish that nibbled on us, which was quite unusual at first.

To be able to explore the smallest islands nearby, we rented a kayak and discovered the most beautiful coral reefs of our entire trip while snorkeling.

After a few days, we took a particularly wobbly boat ride to Koh Mak.

A fairytale island where there isn't even an ATM. We lived in a wooden hut on a dream beach with sandy bottom and simply enjoyed the time.

After losing all sense of date and time here, we eventually continued to Koh Kood. Here, too, we had a great accommodation in the middle of a mangrove forest on the water.

Koh Kood consists mostly of jungle, and the sounds of the animals around us and beneath us sung us to sleep every evening. Here, too, we discovered beautiful and deserted beaches and let our souls relax.
