Paracas and more

Two days ago, we took our Peru Hop Bus from Lima to Paracas. On the way there, we visited one of the oldest haciendas in Peru. Built in 1600 as a slave farm, it is now a hotel. The slave cellar is still well-preserved today.

During the rainy season, the rivers seem to carry a lot of water. Apparently, the pillars of the bridge couldn't handle it.

Upon arriving in Paracas, we took the planned boat tour to the Islas Bellestas. The nature reserve is home to birds, penguins, and seals. Today, we are exploring the local nature reserve - an amazing desert landscape - but see for yourself.

Now, one more piece of information (that we forgot to mention earlier): We cannot insert a prepaid card into our phone, which means we won't be reachable by phone. But you can always send us an email at petramader64@web.de.
