10th-11th April Zambujeira

We leave the Algarve and continue driving along the west coast of Portugal. For one night, we stop in the fishing village of Zambujeira. There, we explore the small beach cove surrounded by cliffs and test out the new bodyboard in the waves. Surprisingly, you can even ride big waves with these small boards - provided you can do it. :-)

In the evening, we met a nice couple in a lovely restaurant while eating squid stew, who, like many others here, are walking the coastal hiking trail called Fisherman's Trek (a new destination for future adventures, as well as Lisbon, which we avoided for the sake of our little one).
