Part 3: Golden Shadow Tour

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 05.02.2024

We were a small group and had a really cool guide who always said that no one should die because it would cause too much paperwork. We drove almost 40 minutes to the national park. The trio cost 27€ and we still had to pay 11 soles (approx. 3€) entry and it was definitely worth it. On the way there, our guide turned on party music, which made the ride on the bumpy slope even more fun. When we arrived, we hiked through the desert for almost 3 hours and it was very tiring at times, even for me. I should have packed my hiking boots and not my regular sneakers. There were also older people who complained a bit and took a little longer in some places, but our guide helped these people and always gave us tips on where and how best to go. I found everything relaxed, except for one descent, where at first I thought it was fun, but in the end everyone thought it was okay but it's definitely not for people with a fear of heights. And at the beginning we had to pass fishermen who had dogs and he then said that we should ignore them and that they might bite. Very calming and inviting, but they didn't do anything. Our guide wanted us to always stay together and took good care of us. We went to five different spots and always had enough time for photos and he also took a group photo of us. On the tour there was a couple from America and two girls from Switzerland and Austria, where we exchanged ideas. It was a cool group and it was really fun, even if it was tiring and the tour lasted until 7:30 p.m. and we were already on the bus at 6 in the morning. Then we watched the sunset together. And he also told us a lot about the area. On the way back there was a little stress because he had the music playing and it was too loud for some people and he then argued. I liked the music selection and volume and enjoyed the ride back.

Afterwards I took a quick shower and then got myself a pizza, which cost €14 but was definitely worth the money. Really tasty, although I briefly considered getting burgers there, but if a burger at Ner Pizzeria doesn't taste good, you can't complain. And it was a good decision. A very tasty pizza that I didn't even finish completely and that I might get again tomorrow because I'm staying in the place for two nights. Afterwards I went to bed and slept straight away.
