Hangover on the last day

Today is actually my last day. Since yesterday went on for quite a while, it was quite difficult to get up on time. However, I had to return my car fully fueled by 9:00 am.

So, with a queasy stomach, I forced myself out of bed at 9:00 am and woke up Meche.

Of course, we got caught in a police control on the way. As always, when you're in a hurry. When I showed the rental papers, the international driver's license, and my passport to the policeman, I think it got too complicated for him and he waved me on. Fortunately, I was wearing sunglasses and he didn't see my tired eyes.

The car rental was also funny. Except for the fuel level, they didn't check anything on the car. And they almost forgot the deposit. But all in all, it only took 4 minutes.

After that, I went back to bed again.

Maria came by at noon because she couldn't be at the farewell party as she had to work. To say goodbye, we went to my favorite fast food chain once again and indulged in some calorie-rich food.

2 Empanadas de Palmito, 1 Empanada de Jamón y Queso, 1 Empanada Chileno, 1 Croqueta de Carne... And all nicely fried:-)

At 5:30 pm, we headed to the airport. The farewell was naturally difficult, but easier than the last two times. There have been some unpleasant incidents during the vacation, so this time I am looking forward to coming home more.

I had a whole bunch of farewell guests at the airport. I don't like goodbyes..

Now I'm sitting here, observing the people who have been forming a line for boarding for an hour, just to be the first ones on the plane. Completely incomprehensible to me..
