Sète, day three.

To learn more about the city, we took the offer of LE PETIT TRAIN. It starts at 10:30 am at Quai Général Durand. Departures are hourly and the tour lasts 45 minutes. The journey goes over the Pont de la Savonnerie, along the Canal Royal towards the south, to the trade port, from there towards the train station, Quai du Pavois d'Or, over the Pont de la Bordigue and along the Canal Royal towards the south back to the roundabout below Théâtre de la Mer.

Afterwards, we will visit the city center for a few hours, we will stop at the Halles de Sète, for delicious regional specialties and a good glass of wine.

We also caught a fish there, which we will round off the day together with a Ratatouille and Boquete in the evening, the wine is already chilled.

We will end the day in Sète by visiting the small beach behind the breakwater on the side facing the sea and getting the necessary cooling down for the night.

Of course, the obligatory visits to the museums or to Mont Saint-Clair with its 182 m and the highly praised 360° panoramic view still have to be fulfilled. We have only seen the old fishing district so far in pictures. We have also not yet explored the Étang de Thau with all its sights. The daily fish auction at the Port de Pêche should also be visited.

However, the weather forecast is rewriting the script in a slightly altered form, we will set sail towards Leucate.

Sète, we will be back.
