Stand still!

I wasn't able to get into the blog yesterday, so today a quick summary of what happened:

We went to the auto repair shop yesterday and they determined that we couldn't continue driving. Oil is lost somewhere on the crankshaft. That alone wouldn't be crazy. The reason is that the workshop only has an appointment available for the repair in March... What to do? Yesterday we called the ÖAMTC emergency protection letter and reported everything. They promised to take care of it and report what hasn't happened yet. I'll now wait until 8 a.m. Austrian time and then call them again. We've played through all possible scenarios in our minds... Let's see what the solution will look like!

We just received a call from Finnish roadside assistance. They arrange for a workshop that can repair the damage on Monday morning and drag us there too! So everything is in progress. We just have to fill the time until Monday somehow - there is a Swiss pastry shop in town 😁….
