One last time in Havana

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 12.07.2017

For our last two days of the trip, we're going back to Havana. In the evening, we'll meet up with our new friends from Guanabo again. We'll drink and eat well and celebrate their last evening in Cuba. At the end of the night, we'll be standing on the Malecon, drinking rum from a tetrapack, while two Cuban Rastas sing for us.
The next day, we'll all meet again and spend a hungover afternoon together before the Münchner have to say goodbye.

The next day, Max and I will visit the fortress in Havana built by the Spaniards. It's a huge stronghold with a gigantic view over Havana and its entrance. There's also a museum about Che in his old office in the fortress. In the afternoon, we'll treat ourselves to two mojitos before a final dinner at A Qui. Then, we'll take one last ride in a vintage car to the airport. However, we ended up at the wrong terminal - the International Terminal. Luckily, we still have plenty of time, so we'll take another taxi and go to Terminal 2 for Eurowings. When we arrive, we'll have to hurry because we have to leave before midnight. Everything goes smoothly and as the plane's engines roar, Max and I wonder if it feels strange, but for both of us, the next adventure, Germany, is just beginning. With that, we say goodbye and look forward to seeing many of you again and hopefully also welcoming visits from some of our new friends.

Best regards,

Max and Marius
