Rolvsfjord - Valberg - 2. September

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 05.09.2019

The next morning greets us with a rainbow on the way to the washhouse, the bus didn't tip over, very good! We are up early again and already on the road around 10 am. We drive through Reine, Moskenes to Å i Lofoten, then the Lofoten ends and there is only the open sea. We briefly meet our camper team here again - Jann and Lovis, but then we set off again. This is the end...!

We are once again driving off the only "main road" and let ourselves be enchanted by the scenery. Many small bridges and tunnels are crossed, the water surrounds you from all sides. Some bridges don't look like bridges at all, but like ski jumps. It looks a bit like the Audi Quattro commercial in the eighties, this time only with the Sprinter...! It feels like driving up at a 90-degree angle and for fun, I always make roller coaster chain noises when I go up (you know what I mean...), then you briefly see nothing on top of the hill, except for the distance and then we rush down at a whopping 60 km/h...!

In the afternoon, we reach a spot on the Rolvsfjord (although they seem to have misspelled it, it should actually be called Rolfsfjord... strange...) near Valberg... in the middle of nowhere...! There is also nothing going on here anymore. Despite the cold, we cook noodles and eat in front of or behind the bus, here it is somewhat sheltered from the wind, but only somewhat. The weather is gloomy... the wind is once again blowing fiercely. This night is also restless, although we are shaken a little less, but the rain beats relentlessly on the bus all night and around us the meadow turns into a lake...! Both of us have to go to the bathroom in this night...Damn!
