After a delicious breakfast, which also had a selection of sausages and cheese, we headed towards Monte Baldo ⛰️
The path led through the town where I had previously vacationed with my parents years ago. Memories came flooding back. Beautiful 🙈
The road wound its way through the mountains, but then we reached the coast of the lake again 🚗 Finding parking near the cable car 🚡 was not easy. The small parking garage was full, the 5 parking spaces in front of it were also full, as were the other two small parking lots nearby. The next parking lot right on the lakefront was also full and there were 4 cars ahead of us, but cars were regularly leaving from there so we waited. And we were able to park relatively quickly 🅿️🙈
Then we headed towards the cable car, where we quickly bought the tickets online and waited briefly on a shady bench for our scheduled time. Then we took the smaller gondola (with space for 45 people) up to almost halfway up the mountain. From there, we took a larger gondola (with space for 80 people) that spun around once during the ride, all the way up to the top of Monte Baldo ⛰️🚡
Since we are not really hikers, even though I now have the shoes for it 😂👟, we only walked a bit higher to have a view of the lake 👀📷
Since it was already 2 PM, we sat down in the restaurant and ordered food. It was delicious, not Italian though, but of course more expensive than somewhere in the valley 😅 But it's okay 🙈
After spending some more time on the mountain, we went back down 😇 While waiting for the gondola, we saw two marmots, they looked cute from a distance 😍
In the nearby town, we strolled through the alleys and bought a few things 🛍
Then we drove back to the hotel. This time, we drove along the lake and only through the mountains at the very end. Of course, luck would have it that a bus drove up the mountains right in front of us and dropped off people at various hotels. So, everything was moving very slowly because steep inclines and tight curves with a bus are not that easy. He definitely had a line of cars behind him ⛰️🚌🚗🚗🚗🚗
Arriving at the hotel, we admired our purchases once again, watched League of Legends on Twitch (like every afternoon/evening), and discussed what we will do tomorrow. We will probably go to the other side of the lake to Limone 🍋, on the recommendation of Mamsi 🥰 I love lemons, so it's very fitting 🙈
Since we have already driven so much today, we went to the hotel's restaurant and had pasta for dinner 🍝 Italian food is really delicious, but a kebab would be nice too. But there aren't many here 😅 I know what we will eat in Ravensburg 😂
Nothing else happened and now we are going to sleep 😴
