Cabo Polonio

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 01.12.2018

Cabo Polonio is a village in a national park that is completely self-sufficient. The way to the village is not through a road but through sand dunes with a buggy. At the entrance, there are a bunch of tourist buses that brought the tourists there. The whole thing is of course very expensive, you pay for the ride and the entrance to the national park.

Then we drove to the neighboring village 'Barra de Valizas' to start the next day. Very nice little hippie village with many holiday homes, here a river also flows into the sea. Here the people told us that we can simply take a fisherman across the river and then hike to Cabo Polonio.

So said, so done. The next morning we got up early and took a fisherman across the Rio Arroyo Valizas and then hiked for 2 hours across the dunes to Cabo Polonio. Walking in the sand was very exhausting but the deserted beaches made it pleasant.

The village is very beautiful, on the coast there are sea lions, penguins and if you're lucky, you can see whales. The walk was really worth it!

On the way back, the weather quickly got worse, so we took a shower under our shower and then got in the car, and at that moment it started raining.
