Return to Ireland - Visit to Cork

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 08.05.2023

Since I still had a little vacation in February, I spontaneously booked a flight to Ireland to visit my friends and also catch up on some things. My first order of business was to have a Smithwicks in the Temple Bar and enjoy the live music.

Since I had booked accommodation in Bray, the southern counterpart to Howth, I took the train and arrived at my accommodation in 30 minutes. The next day, I had something exciting planned - driving to the Wicklow Mountains and doing a hike in Glendalough.

But my first stop led me to a small forest where there was a beautiful wooden path. Unfortunately, I was so scared because it was 8 o'clock in the morning, raining, and there was not a single soul in the forest - it was so spooky that I turned back after 20 minutes and continued driving.

In the middle of the way to the hike, I was searching for the cable of my drone, and who would have thought, I unfortunately forgot my cable, so I couldn't fly it. The hike at Glendalough was wet and wild, and the wind was so strong that I was happy when I got back to the car.

The next day, my bus back to Cork departed early in the morning. It felt like coming home. The residents immediately remembered me, and Waqas and I went with Lisa for lunch. We had a great time, and for the remaining days, I was together with Waqas in various pubs, just enjoying ourselves. The goodbye was difficult, and I had to spend a night at the Dublin airport because my flight was not until 8 o'clock.
