Jakarta - Java - Indonesia

So dear ones, here are my final lines for this trip.

Early at 6 o'clock, Ryan was ready for me once again and took me to Maumere airport. Now it was time to say goodbye Flores again. The first flight took another 90 minutes with a small propeller plane to Denpasar in Bali. It was already freezing cold in there. After a short stay, I took another 90 minutes to Jakarta. It wasn't cold in there this time, but it was extremely cramped. Finally arrived in Jakarta, I needed money once again. As always, this turned out to be difficult for me. There, I discovered a HSBC bank ATM on the maps.me map, which was supposed to be located in Terminal 2. I was in Terminal 1, so I just had to take the Sky Train over. It turned out that the ATM was inside the airport, after the security checkpoint and the departure hall.

So I went to a security officer and actually persuaded him to walk in with me. But when we arrived, it turned out that this ATM didn't exist or maybe was no longer there. So we walked out again and I tried another ATM, and lo and behold, I actually got money. And I had one more Instagram friend, namely the security officer. ;-)

Now I could finally go to my hotel. Yes, I treated myself to a little luxury hotel with a pool and a mega lavish breakfast. The next day, I also discovered the Jakarta metro for myself. It was not only good, but also extremely cheap. I visited a great flea market on Jl. Surabaya and then took a walk to the nearby Welcome Fountain in the city center, which was surrounded by skyscrapers.

Afterwards, I took the Trans Jakarta bus once again to Fadhahillah Square, which was, so to speak, the starting point of my journey.

A journey that comes to an end here. A journey in a beautiful country with lots of beautiful nature. Once again, I met and got to know nothing but lovely people. So I can highly recommend Indonesia to a traveler like myself.

Last day, I enjoyed the amazing breakfast buffet once more and spent the next few hours by the pool. Then I went to have one last Soto Ayam (delicious).

Now it was time to go to the airport. My flight took off at 5:50 PM. Goodbye Indonesia...
