30.9. Tadoussac - Ferryman fetch

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 01.10.2019

It has gotten even colder, 8 degrees this morning. The sun is shining on the way to the ferry. The path initially leads along the eastern shore of the St. Lawrence. Along the way, there are occasional products to admire from Canadian artists.

In Rimouski, there is the Onondaga submarine of the Canadian Royal Navy. It was commissioned in 1967. Today it is a museum and the visit is very interesting.

We arrived on time at the Tres Pistoles ferry port and crossed in 90 minutes with a fairly old ferry. From the deck, we can already spot the first whales, dolphins, and curious seals in the distance.

Near the destination port of Les Escoumins lies Cap-de-Bon-Desir. From an observation point built on rocks, we can see dolphins and whales nearby. A whale is so close that we can hear its blowhole.

Our grandson is also interested in the very small animals,

En route, pure Indian summer.

The overnight stay today in Tadoussac is booked at the B&B Auberge Maison Gagne - nice small rooms with a garden area to relax by a lake.
