Stage 7: Go west (but first a short detour to East Tyrol)

Oberrasen - Antholz - Stallersattel - Oberrasen - Bruneck - Franzenfeste - Sterzing

Earlier than usual, we leave our accommodation to reach the time window of 9:30 (until 9:45) for the drive on the narrow road to the summit, which we manage to do.

Upon arriving at the summit, it starts to rain. Therefore, we only take a short trip to Austrian East Tyrol. And then immediately back to the summit to take advantage of the time window for the descent in the rain. We made a stop at the biathlon arena in Antholz and then a warm-up break in a bar.

Now with our luggage, we mostly ride on the bike paths down the Pustertal Valley and then up the Eisacktal Valley to Sterzing.
