On the Nordkapp peninsula, there is virtually no vegetation left. Only the roads stand out from the snow-covered landscape, swept by icy winds.
In winter, Nordkapp can only be reached by convoys at a fixed time and must be left with the convoy. Therefore, spending the night at the cape was not possible.
The steep cliffs look even more impressive from a bird's eye view.
Of course, the classic swimwear picture had to be taken again. Unfortunately, an Asian tour group couldn't be deterred.
Surprisingly, the convoy consisted of about half Germans. We made plans with two other German tour groups for New Year's Eve. In order to celebrate the new year in a slightly livelier city, we drove to Alta in the evening. The 'A-Team' (Link) took the slipping part too literally and ended up in the roadside ditch. This was the first time the G could show off its strengths as an off-road vehicle.
